Step No. 1

Lighting system analysis.

Proposal development

The Brest chain of grocery stores Prodtovary has planned to replace outdated fluorescent lamps with linear LED luminaires for trading rooms back in January and turned to us. One of the very first stores of this class in Brest, Miks Supermarket, was chosen as a pilot project. We were instructed to develop an effective lighting system that will increase the turnover due to the increased visual activity of buyers. To this end, it was decided to increase the illumination in the sales area from 250 to 750 lux.

Step No. 2

Project economics

Our competitors were Belintegra and Light Technologies. Luminaires from Light Technology are more expensive and with a simpler flat diffuser. Belintegra offered a lamp in a sheet metal housing. The management chose our option – ledz e-Trade 108 CM var linear LED lights, they benefit from design and are assembled from more durable components (aluminum case, OSRAM LEDs).

Brest food chain Foodstuffs decided to replace outdated lamps with linear ledz e-Trade LED lamps 108 CM var of Belarusian production in the mix supermarket
Step No. 3

Final project evaluation.

Payback and benefits

The result after replacing the lamps with new ones was pleasantly surprised by the management and staff of the Miks supermarket. Illumination increased from 250 to 850 lux, and thanks to the longitudinal placement of lamps between the malls, shelves lighting improved, and products began to look more attractive to buyers. The radial diffuser allowed more uniform distribution of light across the shelves at eye level, and the high color rendition of OSRAM LEDs showed bright colors of the packages. We hope that this is exactly the result that the network management was expecting, and we will be happy to provide assistance at other sites.
